On May 17, 2023, the Honolulu City & County Council presented an honorary certificate to HPJ Board Vice Chair, Christine Ahn for ongoing commitment to standing for peace and social justice, particularly for the reunification of Korea. Christine was previously honored in 2022 for the Peace Summit Medal for Social Activism and is the Founder and Executive Director of Women Cross DMZ. It is an honor to have Christine on our board.
