HPJ and Hui Aloha ʻĀina o Honolulu joined forces to facilitate interactive Hoʻea Hawaiʻi interactive workshops on the history and impact of militarism in Hawaiʻi and how it relates to Lā Kūʻokoʻa (Hawaiian Independence day. HPJ also also offered stickers and linocut prints of either Timoteo Haʻalilio, Kauikeaouli or Haunani Kay Trask to event participants. Lā Kuʻokoʻa also offered books and prints for sale, activities and games for children, and live music.
