On March 22-23, 2024, HPJ hosted its 2nd annual Youth Liberation Camp. Youth engaged in discussions on climate justice, the impacts of the military on our ʻāina, media literacy, gender and male supremacy, art actions and other activities to develop their critical thinking, leadership and community organizing skills. Attendance increased by 27% compared to the first camp and we expect it to be even larger next year. HPJ is committed to investing in supporting and building youth organizers who look beyond activism and toward developing long term strategies and base building.
